For many years Freeman Safaris has offered scheduled Kenyan safaris for our Masai Mara and Samburu National Park camps. Each group is kept small for 14 participants (only children 10+ years at 75% charge), to ensure you have the adventure of your lives. Come with me to experience a “yesterday’s safari today”.

Please Note: Any person over the age of 16 is classed as an adult. Exclusive group bookings can include children of all ages and special rates may be available in these circumstances. Due to local VAT rules the safari fee will be exclusive of the park/bed fees which are $70 per day. They will be invoiced separately and due with your final payment.

Safari’s Highlights

Your African adventure begins after your arrival in Nairobi. The following day you will depart for the most stunning flight into the Mara and then transfer to our camp deep inside the National Park. Within hours you will start your experience of a lifetime, as we search for the animals as dusk falls across the Mara. Your safari host Brian Freeman will share the wonders of living on the banks of a small river full of hippos and much, much more.

There’s travel involved from one camp to another which includes a drive up Mt Kenya, Thompson Falls, the Rift Valley and a boat trip on Lake Naivasha. A trip to remember forever.

Safari’s Highlights

Seeing the endangered mountain gorillas of Rwanda is an experience not to be missed. Your visit helps protect and preserve this population through the payment of strictly administered official permit fees. Guides will take you on the trek into the jungle to encounter these magnificent animals and you will be briefed how to behave in their presence. It is a humbling, almost spiritual experience to share a brief encounter with these exceptional primates.

Safari’s Highlights

When time is of the essence, a Big Cat Day Tour is a fast way to see the majesty of a pride of lions and family of cheetahs. Your day on the Mara will start early and end late and will be action packed traversing the plains to find these cats in their natural habitat – there’s nothing so exciting as witnessing the chase for their prey or the group resting under a tree from the heat of the day. This day Safari is a small taste of Africa which will definitely bring you back to Kenya for more.
