A note of thanks to you and your team for making our too short stay with you such a memorable one.
Shortly after our arrival, you asked me to rate the Mara with other parks that I had experienced. My reply was that they are all different, but have their own attraction. I can now safely say that your neck of the woods is the best that I have experienced.
After travelling around in your modified Land Rovers and then the Safari Land Cruiser in the Crater, I must say that you have the answer for both comfort and visibility in your vehicles. The Land Cruiser we were in for our visit to the crater was bumpy as I know Toyotas to be, but the most frustrating part was sitting in the rear seats and not being able to see out the windscreen or cab door windows unless one became a contortionist. The sliding windows on the sides of the Cruiser also only opened about 200mm, giving limited movement for the camera.
As it was the dry season at the Crater, there was very little grass and consequently very few animals to be seen when comparing to the Mara. Thankfully we had only arranged one day in the Crater for this part of our trip.
Zanzibar was a good rest stop with an excellent venue in the Uroa Beach resort.
Thanks to your assistance with the camera. I am now going through my photos and finding some really good ones.
Kind regards and asante sana,
Heather and Graham.
