Freeman Safaris run a fleet of specially prepared Landrover Defenders and Discoveries, the ideal vehicles for crossing river beds and negotiating the terrain in complete safety. The vehicles have been optimised to provide the best facilities for viewing and photographing the animals. We have also added a special photo vehicle for the professional and enthusiastic amateur wildlife photographers.
All our vehicles have been modified with a totally open roof with padded roll cage bars. There are plenty of pockets and space for your equipment. The sides have been modified with a rail provided with a Manfrotto head to enable large lenses to be safely mounted.This gives total flexibility for either high or low shots.
On each safari there is a maximum of four clients per Land Rover. However, an increasing number of clients, including photographers equipped with top-of-the-range professional cameras and large telephoto lenses, have asked to have either a row of seats to themselves or an exclusive vehicle.
